On Sunday 14th of April, at 7 PM, at the Auditorium of the G. P. da Palestrina Conservatorio in Cagliari, Fabio Furia will perform in “Concierto Doble” with the Anton Stadler Orchestra directed by Maurizio Dones and the musicians Xuefei Yang and Martin Palmeri. The Concert is held as part of the 2024 ARTango&Jazz Festival, XV edition by the Associazione Anton Stadler.

The concert starts with two great compositions by Astor Piazzolla: the Four Seasons, rich in nuances and emotions that outline the succession of the seasons and the double concerto for guitar, bandoneon and orchestra Hommage à Liège, his tribute to the Belgian city, with a complex and multifaceted form, rich in rhythmic and harmonic variations. The show will close with the national premiere of the double concerto for bandoneon, guitar, piano and orchestra written by the Argentine composer Martín Palmeri who, for the occasion, will perform at the piano joining the soloists and orchestra.
An extraordinary evening of great music, in which the pathos and lyricism of the melodies proposed will follow the most vibrant rhythms of tango music.
